Voice Amplification Mode — HDL300 system

    • PDF

    Article Summary

With Voice Amplification Mode, the Nureva® HDL300 system is connected to a wireless headset microphone. The presenter wearing the headset will then have an amplified voice in the room. The HDL300 system’s full-room audio pickup continues to ensure that remote participants clearly hear all voices from the meeting room or classroom.

    Why use Voice Amplification Mode?

Hearing a presenter clearly can be challenging even for in-room participants — especially those sitting at the back of the room. With Voice Amplification Mode, the in-room experience is improved for both participants and presenters while still providing an excellent audio experience for remote attendees.

    With Voice Amplification Mode

    • In-room participants can hear the presenter amplified clearly through the HDL300 speakers.

    • Remote participants can hear the presenter and in-room participants clearly through the UC&C application, thanks to the full-room audio pickup provided by the HDL300 system.

    • The presenter and participants can be recorded with the UC&C application or lecture capture solution.

Only the voice of the person wearing the headset microphone will be amplified in the room.

Which microphone systems can I use?

Headset and earset microphone systems are supported for use with Voice Amplification Mode. Lavalier, lapel, pendant and handheld microphone systems are not currently supported. Users should verify with the microphone manufacturer that their microphone system and transmitter are compatible.
